What can I put into a QR code?
Any text up to 2000 characters — a website URL, a plain message, a Wi-Fi login string, contact details, anything a QR scanner app can read back as text.
What does the error correction level control?
It trades QR code density for damage tolerance. Low (L) packs more data into a smaller code; High (H) survives smudges, glare or partial damage but produces a denser pattern for the same content.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG is a fixed-resolution image, ideal for sharing or pasting directly. SVG is vector-based and scales to any size without quality loss, ideal for print or large signage.
Will custom colors stop the QR code from scanning?
It can, if the foreground and background colors are too close in contrast. For reliable scanning, keep a dark foreground on a light background.
Is my QR content sent anywhere besides being rendered?
Your text is sent to our server only to render the QR image (the QR encoding library runs server-side) and is never logged or stored afterward.
