Privacy Policy

Overview

Convertify ("we", "us", "the Service") is a free online toolbox for converting, compressing, resizing, editing and securing images and PDF files, operated by Alifbey.tech. This policy explains what happens to your files and any other data when you use the Service.

Files You Upload

When you use a tool, your file is uploaded to our server, held in memory for the time it takes to process your request, and the result is sent back to you for download. We do not write uploaded files to disk, and we do not save, back up, index or otherwise retain them after your request completes. Once your response has been sent (or the request fails), the file is discarded and is not recoverable by us.

A small number of tools (for example, Word/Excel/PowerPoint conversion and PDF repair/encryption tools) briefly write your file to a temporary, randomly-named folder on the server so that the underlying local conversion engine can read and write it. That temporary folder is deleted immediately after the conversion finishes, whether it succeeds or fails.

What We Don't Do

• We do not require an account, email address, or any personal information to use any tool.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your files or their contents with anyone.
• We do not use your files to train any AI model. No tool on Convertify sends your file to a third-party AI or cloud-processing API — every tool runs entirely on our own server using local, open-source software.
• We do not set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. We do not use any third-party analytics or ad-tracking scripts.

Server Logs

Like virtually all web servers, our infrastructure automatically logs basic technical information for security, abuse-prevention and debugging purposes — this can include your IP address, browser/user-agent string, the page or endpoint requested, and the request timestamp. These logs do not include the contents of files you process and are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for operational and security purposes.

Third-Party Services

Pages on Convertify load web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) for typography. Loading these fonts may expose your IP address to Google in the same way it would for any website using Google Fonts. We do not control, and are not responsible for, Google's handling of that data — see Google's own privacy policy for details.

The "HTML to PDF" tool fetches a URL you provide and renders it server-side. We do not inspect, store, or share the content of pages you choose to convert, beyond the temporary processing described above. You are responsible for only submitting URLs you have the right to access and convert.

Children's Privacy

Convertify is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Service does not require any personal information to operate.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit and during processing (such as serving the site over HTTPS in production). However, no online service can guarantee absolute security — please avoid uploading highly sensitive documents (e.g. containing passwords, financial account numbers, or government ID numbers) if you are not comfortable with the inherent risks of transmitting them over the internet to any server.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the Service changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Convertify after a change means you accept the updated policy.
