Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Convertify (the "Service"), operated by Alifbey.tech, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

Convertify provides free, browser-based tools to convert, compress, resize, edit and secure images and PDF files. The Service is provided "as is" with no account or payment required. We may add, change, or remove tools and features at any time without notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not use Convertify to:

• Upload or process any file you do not have the legal right to possess, copy, or modify;
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that violates the rights of any third party;
• Attempt to upload malware, or files crafted to exploit, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems;
• Send automated, bulk, or abusive traffic that places unreasonable load on the Service (for example, scripted mass-uploading outside of normal interactive use);
• Attempt to circumvent file-size limits, rate limits, or other technical restrictions.

We reserve the right to block or rate-limit traffic that we reasonably believe violates these terms.

File Size and Availability

Uploads are currently limited to 1GB per file. Tools that depend on local conversion engines (such as Office document conversion, PDF repair, or OCR) may take longer to process and, on rare occasions, fail for malformed or unsupported input files. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service and are not liable for any downtime, maintenance, or processing failures.

Your Files and Content

You retain all ownership rights to any file you upload and to the converted result. We do not claim any ownership over your content. As described in our Privacy Policy, files are processed in memory (or briefly in a temporary, auto-deleted location for certain conversions) and are not retained by us after your request completes.

You are solely responsible for verifying that any output produced by a tool (a converted, compressed, signed, or watermarked file, for example) is accurate, complete and fit for your intended purpose before relying on it — particularly for tools like PDF to Word/Excel/PowerPoint conversion, OCR, or PDF repair, where automated conversion may not perfectly preserve formatting or recover all content.

No Warranty

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that any tool will be error-free, that conversions will be lossless, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alifbey.tech and Convertify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, business, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Intellectual Property

The Convertify name, logo, design and interface are the property of Alifbey.tech. The underlying open-source libraries used to power individual tools (such as sharp, pdf-lib, LibreOffice, Ghostscript, and Tesseract.js) remain the property of their respective authors under their own open-source licenses.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
